The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed about the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area every day. The provider point produced for intervention activities a significant inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA sassa status check will mobilise more resources to allow the servicing of all clients and increase access to read more Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
